Popular Bio-Related Career

When I passed by the school counselors room yestreday, I was attracted to the articles pasted on the notice board.. I took out my second best friend ~pink Lumix Cam (My first best friend is my pink Vaio laptop~if anyone could recall!)..from my handbag..quickly snapped a few displayed articles on the board.

...adding to it, this week breaking news seem to be related with the result from MARA and JPA~ ~spm 2009 students waited for their application result of admission to various universities and colleges..

So I hope these articles might do a bit of help for them to decide their future path...especially for those who have interest in Bio lines..

and of course...the best of all profession is TEACHER....

Teachers Day-Part 2

It was 3 days back..but the heat of the Teachers Day celebration is still on air.....All girls are starting to have an exam fever (Mid Year Examination)...........But when I entered form 4 Helpilian class( the only Form 4 class I'm teaching this year ~ to invigilate the exam)... when the exam was about to start, one of the girls passed to me a piece greeting card~ she said though its a bit late the class girls have prepared the card specially for me.....

...While they were answering the questions, I looked through the card...and I was touched by the pics and the sweet words written on it...It really touched me and I almost shed tears...

..Well... I believe that what they have written somehow shows their perception towards me~ as their biology teacher ~ within three months.......and I would like to share with all of you here, how wonderful to have these girls as my students...

..Above all, their words are going to be a booster for me to continue my service as a teacher.......the most "emblematic" ( Embodiment!!) teacher....gorgeous, intelligent....as they perceived. ..and I'm glad they love Biology~ partly because of me..

And am going to make them love Biology very much..(Like Irdina 5Bakerara said: Cinta maut Biologi???)

Luv you girls...Aset penting negara!

Teachers Day @SESERI

Wow...speechless...splendid!..The Teachers Day celebration was great and fun.. The girls were talented and creative...The team work among them were superb!!
..So proud of them : The fifth formers (they called their batch :Bellatrix with Iz as the head girl) and the forth formers too, have worked very hard to organise this year's Teachers Day..despite of their mid year exam comin just one day after that day...so unfortunate...But still they managed the event well...it was entertaining~ ~~
..Hundreds of photos were taken...the event was so grand..Teachers were treated like VIPs..and like artists too..
..and..of course the gifts from the students...which have touched my heart!...their thoughtfulness, their appreciation...not just mere words....it was translated by gifts and greeting cards...and I like the way they express gratitude and appreciation...not only to me alone...but to all teachers too...
...And definitely some students are closer to you than other teachers....so words and gifts tell all.

Thanks a lot girls for believing in me: to guide you..to educate you...to lead the small portion of your life...I always pray for all of you to be successful in your life...now and forever...

Bio Charts

Another style of learning in order to minimise the sleepiness in the classroom is by allocating tasks for students to prepare charts...

..In Bio lesson, there are many charts to be prepared..You just name it and you get it!

And of course in Bio lab, all the stuff such as manila cards, mahjung paper, marker pens, long ruler etc...etc..etc..are a must ~ always available in the Lab! so that...at any time of the lesson, when teacher detect the sign of 'sleepiness', teacher can straight away decide on the other plan B / strategy !

..That's what I did with the 5 Helpilia that day....They are preparing charts for the process of Spermatogenesis and Oogenesis and The menstrual Cycle too...

Blog Page Visit - The Statistic

When I'm checking to see the stats of my blog visitors, I was amused to find that there is such a statistic revealed....and I really like it...very much! Thanks to all the visitors.....I guess most of them are my ex students who are occupying all parts of the world :)

I'm sure by visiting my Blog, all of you are hoping to share my anecdote..my experiences...my joys and pains...especially as a Teacher~~

Lab Computer :)

Jom Lab Comp....Terjah what are the girls doing?....Yes....Bila dapat peluang masuk new Lab Com, all grinning...awal-awal lagi dah tunggu kat depan pintu...There's no deny...when computer things are concerned semua orang suka...including me!

That morning i was supposed to relief Nik's Civics Class (she was absent), so i quickly asked permission to use the room from Hadi..and permission granted!
5 Bakerarans were overjoyed to be in the Lab..
So...their tasks was to complete A Power Point Presentation~within one hour, a minimum of 10 slides...and mailed, attached to my inbox !!! mahadiah@gmail.com

Guess what? Finally I have a collection of Power Points with various sub chapters which I hv allocated for them...and Students were learning to do Power Point, to mail and to attach documents too.....Computer Skills!

Sc & Math Week Activity - Construct Model Bio Competition

Another activity designed by Bio Department in conjunction with school Science and Math week was constructing Bio Models in a given time...and it was done on Thursday (one day after the BioTech Talk). It was in the evening @GAS (Gelanggang Anggerik Sari)...

While the girls were bizi constructing models, I was bizi snapping their actions..Most of them are the Forth formers (new comers)...cute, lovable and timid....
