The story of My Inbox

This week my hand phone 'inbox' hv been receiving an amazing messages...each is reflecting how involve I am in almost everything...every little things...Especially when I'm away from school.......No wonder my head is pretty heavy these days...hopefully is not due to high blood pressure (bcos so far..not yet..Thanks God)...Yeah..my head is heavy with all the activities which cause my brain to spin...doing all sort of thinking, planning and...etc..etc...etc..THESE TWO DAYS...

Msg from My mum:
..korban di kemboja seekor dan di Msia sebahagian. Bahagian mama RM300.Nanti hantar duit ya?

Thats a reminder to bank in money, bcoz I wanna put a share for 'korban' Eid Adha.

Msg from GC who have received their kain batik untuk baju batik rasmi GC WPKL:

..and there are SO many more messages of the same reason because they have to pay through me and I'm helping Majlis GC WPKL to manage this....and I'm doing favour actually...Adding to my other loaded tasks! (No complain though...just sharing ;-P )

Msg frm PPD officer after discussing over the phone regarding the last Bio Talk which I have to give on Wednesday 4th...and suddenly interrupted...( I have no choice...)

..Ok puan..Maaf sbb talian tk brapa bagus tadi.

...and I have not prepared materials to be printed out yet and wondering what actually I'm supposed to 'Talk' about at the 'late' hour like this??? (Dah dekat SPM sangat dah....they actually want the latest TIPS of Bio...Definitely no spot questions please!)...

....and messages keep on entering the 'inbox'.....as early as 8.00 am...and as late as 12.0 midnite....

No wonder my 'sent' messages are as many as 250 by the end of the month!!!..
...Do not blame the technology!!!!

Bio Department- Peer mentoring

...This is the forth year where such a programme is carried out...I think most of the residential schools have this kind of programme but they call it with different names...As for ours, the latest is known as Biology Department- Under One Roof..and I like them to be known as Catalyst...and they call themselve Enzymes and their mentees are the substract...

Well...whatever names they are using...the aim is still the same...The group is helping teacher to coach students in a below par group, so that their friends would score better in SPM....

..and they helped a lot...for bio, they do it every wednesday morning, at 6.30-7.30am and the latest, every wednesday 3.30-4.30pm...and over the weekend too, as already scheduled in their time table...

...and last week I gathered them in Bio Lab, to give last few words of advices and expressed appreciation for their assistance...and distributed a small token...

Duit Raya distribution to my mentees @Bio Lab

...Blame me...for being so busy...kejap ada, kejap tak ade,kat sekolah... like chipsmore......So month of Syawal almost comes to an end....in fact already ENDED....on the 18th October!!!!

...Have been keeping 'duit raya' for my mentees...day after day....then...only today I managed to see them..and settled my promise...

Funny though...it was like a small ceremony pulak....and I just happened to have my digCam in my handbag...so they wanted to be snapped....again...it may looked like a small matter but big and meaningful for them.....Memories di SBP (Sekolah Berasrama Penuh...)..

Mentor-Mentee is one of the school programmes hosted by School Counselling Unit.....Each teacher will take care of 12-14 students for the whole year...Meeting is held monthly to discuss their problems...both academic and non academic...with that we become closer.......

Gastisians @Pizza Hut The Mall

Waahhh...at last the dreamed farewell party turned out to be true..Never mind if it was only @Pizza Hut...(that seemed to be the best place for us.)......due to many ..many.....constraints.......especially...........time constraint...

...When Gastisians decided to spend their class fund on class party...at that instant, I could only think of Pizza Hut...or may be Kentucky FC.....bcoz those are the easiest place to go and gather....(from our school)...So after discussion... it was agreed...with the budget RM450..for 26 persons...it was done!..on Monday...

..Started at about 3.30 pm..ended at about 4.30 pm.....It was short but sweet. I guess it would be definitely a memory for the form 5 girls of 5 Gastisian..(Why I was there? bcos I'm their tutor@Form Teacher)...

Not much time to visit places in Malacca, but spent most of the time meeting and EATING .....eating......5 meals per day..Well fed...I should say!..and of course, the meeting...shhhhh..(top secret)

The Hari Raya Fest

..lemang, rendang, satay, nasi impit, masak lodeh/lontong..

ada juga nasi tomato, nasi goreng???, bee hoon???,spagheti???

...cakes!!! mee soup..cookies...

so the girls eat eat eat eat eat eat.....and have fun.....

..till we meet again hari raya next year!!...

The morning of the 3 in 1 Event

..Saturday morning on the 10th....... some people are busy doing marketing, or perhaps busy managing house chores, or still resting in beds...but SESERI teachers reached school as early as 7.00 am...What more the students, coming up from their hostel as early as 6.45 am....to prepare the final touch of the 3 in 1 event: Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang Kokurikulum + Majils Anugerah Cemerlang HEM + Sambutan Hari Raya School level..

...and of course I have already in mind what I'm gonna do that day...yes...I'm going to be a photographer...

First thing in the morning there were students from the uniform bodies like Kadet Polis, Pengakap, Puteri Islam, Bulan sabit Merah, practising the 'kawad' for the inspection by Pengarah Pelajaran the VIP.

...Snap few photos of them....Then I went to the cafe' @canteen to join the rest for a breakfast...

You will notice our teachers were wearing school batik rasmi which somehow caught the attention of the VIPs....(That is the third batik rasmi that we had )...and dont you think our teachers are the cheerful lots??...and always get excited infront of the camera :> (like electrons do, when exposed to sunlight...ngeeeee...;-)
