Celebrating Ambang Merdeka@seseri

The programme started @ 6 pm..and lasted till 12.30 am..Most of seseri teachers stayed back @school in order to avoid the massive jam in the evening....Living in KL, demand a lot of patience...The jam was so so horrible ! Not only causing the loss of time, loss of mood, loss of mind and loss of appetite !!!..

So...teachers stayed! Some brought all their babies 'berkampung' kat sekolah...What to do...the life of a teacher...

And the programme went on....Majlis berbuka puasa, Majlis Khatam Quran, Solat taraweeh, morey...and ceramah kemerdekaan which was beautifully delivered by the speaker...VERY motivating and the school hall could even hv collapsed due to the laughters over the 'selamba' jokes which were full of meanings- tersurat dan tersirat..TQ Sir for the TAlk..

....and the tapioca a.k.a. ubi kayu I got from Izleana the head prefect...was so nice taste ! and TQVM IZ...for the trouble !!

...the theme is wearing batik sarung...and all girls did that !

and the count down broke the silence of the night....and the patriotic songs of course....

...@about 1230, drove back home, alone.. leaving the school compound......along the roads still many cars heading to all directions....Yup......life in KL is always @ fast pace, regardless day or night !!

Ramadhan comes again !

"O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become God-fearing." (The Quran, 2:183)

..Ramadhan comes again...the most awaiting for...Fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The month is spent by Muslims fasting during the daylight hours from dawn to sunset. ....

Special nightly prayers called, Taraweeh prayers are held. The entire Quran is recited in these prayers in Mosques all around the world. This month provides an opportunity for Muslims to get closer to God. This is a month when a Muslim should try to:

	See not what displeases Allah
	Speak no evil
	Hear no evil
	Do no evil
	Look to Allah with fear and hope

....and as for me..the routine is more or less the same... three quarter of the day spent @ school- preaching biology (~_^)..Back home take a nap for a short while.....next is to plan what to have for breaking the fast...Dishes as usual..a simple dinner, no elaboration....with 'kurma' and a glass of sweet drink.....and rice....

Night time, after maghrib prayer.....in between, before isya', recite few pages of Quran.....then off for solat Taraweeh.....

...Before going to sleep..do a bit of reading of any religious books, simply to update, to refresh, to remind ......that life is a God gift...that we belong to HIM, the Almighty, the most Merciful, Most Compassionate...

Upon returning from UPSI Tanjung Malim, we decided to stop @A&W. After so long not 'visiting' the place....emmmm...with yuyu who never can resist burgerrr....and root beer.....emmmmm..Look @ what they ordered...and they can finish it !!

It was on Monday again..the formal assembly....just one day before Trial SPM examination for the form 5 (Bellatrixians )...We are rushing for time...to get all the events completed fast..

It was 6 in 1 event :

1. Perlantikan Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya (PRS ) in purple vest

2. Perlantikan Badan Imtiaz (purple tudung)

3.Perlantikan Librarian (PPS) in blue vest

4.Perlantikan Kuarter masters in pink

5. Pelancaran Bulan Kemanusiaan:

- Bulan Kemerdekaan,

-Pendidikan Sivik

6. Ihya' Ramadan

It was successfully done in less than an hour...because we cant afford to waste any more time....for all these ceremonial stuff....

Congratulation to ALL girls (Form 4 girls) who are shouldered with the respective responsibilities...DO YOUR JOB WELL !
