Historical Sport Day

KejohananOlahraga Tahunan Ke-8./ 2011

Left home as early as 6.30 am..Reaching stadium to find most of the girls were already there.

Suasana sukan mula terasa...

And it started beautifully with series of event.

And I was not involved in any of the common committee because I am the ' Guru Ketua Rumah' (GKR) for Epidendrium- The orange house

2004 was our first sport day..and ever since that year, I was never been appointed as Ketua Rumah...and finally when everybody /every teacher of Epi has became GKR, I was the only one left...SO, that's how I became GKR.

And...it's worth taking the responsibility, when it turned out to be the historic achievement for Epidendrium...Alhamdulillah..

The house captain Syarifah Alya and all the committee members worked very hard..and with their tireless effort in bringing back the 'title' for Epi...CONGRATULATION GIRLS.>>
The team work was superb ! All the running events were controlled by them..They were great!

Strong determination, united, and knew what they want to achieve !

Its all for EPI....EPI...EPI...
and the medals for this year..
Sweet Pavi...she contributes to EPI's success !!
The cheering group...fascinating and beautifully presented..Won the second place but for me , they are the winner !!
Who knows, these girls are all so so...holistic !
Dendro emerged as the winner..Good performance too...
For the 'perbarisan'...EPI won the FIRST place !!
And sweet QISTINA....olahragawati of the year...winning 5 gold medals...who else can beat her?

Congratulation girl !! You helped EPI to win!

Yeaaayyy...tanpa penglibatan semua tidak mudah untuk menjadi johan.....

Based from my observation: their team work are great ! They love and care for each other, they are committed and determine to win...They sacrificed their time for this success...
...and it is worth !
Congratulation again girls...I'm sure this sport day will become the best memory in your 2 years spent at SESERI..
Thank you girls, for making my year as GKR , a year to remember..I am very happy !

Benchmarking Bio

Being in the 6th position (SPM 2010) among all SBPs...Bio subject in SESERI somehow has gained recognition fro other residential schools...Mind you, we are not only SBP, we are also SBT..

and when the two bio teachers from SM Sains Selangor, Maz and Sham came for the benchmarking programme...I was fully occupied for two days, entertaining them....

They observed my Teaching and Learning process, snapping photos of my Bio Lab, browsing through our modules...sharing most of Bio stuff...
Tak lengkap jika tidak bergambar untuk dokumentasi dan kenangan...
TQ SM Sains Selangor...
yang baik buat tauladan, yang tidak, tinggalkan di belakang !

Seriously hope both of you gained a lotta of things from me and my BioLab...and implement it when you go back to your school !

Lawatan Penandaarasan

Lawatan penanda arasan...mainly because SESERI is already known for her high achievement in academic...and being one of the Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi (SBT)...some of the schools see us as a school to set an example...

...In June, a group of Kota Damansara daily school girls stayed for a week at the hostel and joined all the activities that seserians did...
and when the time to leave came...they wouldnt miss to share memories via photos...
....and the 5 Gastisians...

Next was SBPI Gopeng girls....stayed for a week..
and they joined my Bio Class...
and the following week, a group of girls from SM Sains Trengganu also came for the 'bench marking' program..

Well, one after another...and yet we have not even started to bench mark others...Where do I begin ???

A visit to Jerantut

It was on Sunday...when Siti Fatimah, Zainora and I have to accompany 30 students to Jerentut in a program called: Majlis Memuliakan Hari Keputeraan KDYMM Sultan Pahang Ke 80 di daerah Jerantut..

Reached there at about 12.00 noon and straight to Dato' Halim's house for a lunch treat !
Dato' Halim is our naib Yang dipertua PIBG this year
..Meanwhile, while in the bus, the two guys, Fatin and Safa were practising 'gurindam' to present to Sultan...
..While waiting for the lunch to be served...At Dato' Halim's house..
Hmmm....lunch of Jerantut specialities : Ikan patin tempoyak kukus, masak lemak daging salai, ulaman...and goreng ayam kampung...
And the girls were enjoying the meal..
All served and treated like vip....Thank you Dato' and Datin...
Ikan patin tempoyak....(first time I had one :)
Dah sudah makan....bergambar pula :)
This is Dato's house....
And the Bus...
And the venue of the event...
met Syamila, x-seserian..
The two girls after presenting gurindam on stage !
The birthday cake for tuanku, specially ordered by Pn Jamilah and me....at Grand Millenium somewhere near Pavillion..which cost around RM 350.00..(Its ok, Dato' paid )

And tuanku was overwhelming when he found us there .....seserians (anak Pahang ) have touched his heart !

Happy Birthday Tuanku :)
