The sweetest Teachers Day

Sudah tahu sebulan lepas...dapat Anugerah Guru Inovatif WP tahun 2011..Tidak menjadi rahsia lagi ...kerana 'blog' itu juga dicalonkan mewakili WP ke pertandingan Guru Inovatif Peringkat kebangsaan sempena Hari Guru 2011..Selepas diberitahu oleh Pn Zainun JNJK JPNWPKL untuk bersedia bagi penilaian oleh sekumpulan pegawai dari Bahagian Perkembangan Kurikulum (BPK) Putrajaya, I know I have to get ready...

..True enough, soon after that, 3 of them came and spent hours to observe how the 'blog' assist me in Teaching and learning Bio !...I did not put much hope for that because I never thought of submitting this so called 'inovation' in the first place....

And when the day comes, as early as 7 in the morning, five of us went to SJKC Tsun Jin for the event.

I won for an individual category while Add math group won for a group category..Seen are : Ding, Emi,Wong and Atikah..

We sat in the front row....penerima anugerah..

Unable to describe my feelings...memang sangat gembira..

Kedua-dua anugerah dibolot oleh seseri....make our school proud !

We (Azahari and I ) have been working together as a team for SPM invigilation in 2009..and meet again there..

and so happy to be able to record moment together..like sister and brother.

~ A soft spoken, a fine gentleman ~ That's the few words to describe him.
Wish him a continuous success in his 'teaching' career and of course his 'singing' biz :)

I was away when the school celebrated Teachers Day..So I missed the celebration which was held on Friday. Back to school on monday, to find all the gifts and cards on my table...and I'm touched ! TQ Very Much..... for thinking of me ..

Teachers Day Part 1

A week earlier....the greeting from Education Minister~On the 16th May~ Teacher and her class students..I am a Form 4 Gastisia Form teacher this year !
...and the master piece on their class white board as a greeting!
and the big cake~ a yearly Teachers Day cake presented by Yayasan Pendidikan Cheras...TQ for the remembrance ! May Allah bless you..

Bengkel Modul Pendidikan

Again....with CDC or BPK (Bahagian Perkembangan Kurikulum , KPM)...But this time it was not about Biology Syllabus, but is all about the development of modules for seed in space.

It is going to be a -3 serial workshops...and it started on the 12-14th April. I was representing KPM~ teachers, among 7 others the whole of Malaysia to construct module for this programme. It is organised by Agensi Angkasa Negara (ANGKASA) , MOSTI...and of course they tag along MARDI, and professors of seeds technology from UPM and UPSI..

Well..it was indeed a great experience to work out this 'national' programme which is scheduled to be launched immediately after the space seeds reached the earth :)
MARDI officer En Shuib was presenting 'Why we choose chilli seeds to be sent to space ???'...and of course...next is all the chiili stuff information !!

And...back to rest after late at night..for 3D 2N @ Hotel Seri Malaysia Genting...

Terrarium Competition

Terrarium means ' a little world" .

A small enclosure or closed container in which selected living plants and sometimes small land animals, are kept..for observation..

And apart from 'constructing models' competition, there's a 'terrarium' competition too. Each of the form four classes have to present one of this kind....

....with the description and the group has to present it to the judges...





the problem with terrarium is.....the maintainance !
