The Math of My Professional Journey

Alhamdulillah...syukur kepada Allah sbt

Umat Islam perlu yakin dengan sepenuh-­penuhnya bahawa rezeki terletak dalam kekuasaan Allah atau di tangan Allah, bukan di ta­ngan makhluk.

Mahfum Firman Allah (Saba’:24)

Katakanlah: “Siapakah yang memberi rezeki kepada mu dari langit dan dari bumi?” Katakanlah: “Allah”, dan Sesungguhnya Kami atau kamu (orang-orang musyrik), pasti berada dalam kebenaran atau dalam kesesatan yang nyata.

Mahfum Firman Allah (Ali Imran:26):

Katakanlah: “Wahai Tuhan yang mempunyai kerajaan, Engkau berikan kerajaan kepada orang yang Engkau kehendaki dan Engkau cabut kerajaan dari orang yang Engkau kehendaki. Engkau muliakan orang yang Engkau kehendaki dan Engkau hinakan orang yang Engkau kehendaki. di tangan Engkaulah segala kebajikan. Sesungguhnya Engkau Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu.

 This event is definitely meaningful in my professional journey. This is also a climax of my career. Heartiest thanks to all family members, friends and students who give an endless support right from the beginning of my career in 1980....

Glad To be a Teacher

I’M GLAD I AM A TEACHER

I would rather be a teacher than a statesmen,

For he deals with finished citizens,

I deal with future citizens.

I would rather be a teacher than a great business executive,

For he works with facts and figures and lifeless coins,

But I work with minds that are open,

With the future that unfolds and principles that grow.

I would rather be a teacher than a potter,

For he shapes vessels of clay,

But I shape destinies.

I would rather be a teacher than an archaeologist,

For he unearths buried treasure,

But I unearth talent.

I would rather be a teacher than an explorer,

For he explores uncharted seas,

But I explore uncharted minds

and discover treasure island

And continents of untold possibilities.

I would rather be a teacher than a scientist,

For though he studies the wonders of rocks,

and the beauty of the stars,

and the miracles of planets

and the glory of the skies,

I deal with that which is still more miraculous

In the throbbing human hearts, 

unfolding human lives and the information of lifetime character.

Majlis Anugerah Tawaran Baru

Majlis Anugerah Tawaran Baru Pengetua dan Guru Besar was held on the 13th sept. 2011 at BTPN ..We were proud that our Principal was one of the chosen one ! Dato' Hajah Jamilah ..
I was among the 5 supporters to represent SESERI...that day
My principal ~ the most supportive pengetua..
and for that matter, she entitled a gift of RM7500.00 for successfully bringing our school to carry the title of High Performance School...


And the 5% of the teachers will be awarded RM1800 for achieving the highest score in LNPT 2010...And I was caught by suprised when one of the 3 teachers mentioned is me...The rest of the teachers get RM900 each....(**My marks is 95.0% )

Alhamdulillah...Thank you Allah, Thank you Puan~ for believing in me.

It indeed motivates me...Semangat membara!

Well...not much to be shared for the whole of August...Its sort of 'hibernating' ~ free from strenuous activities at least for the whole Ramadan.

..And a week before Hari Raya...hampers started to be delivered... The hampers were so special that I couldnt resist to snap photos and shared them with you.....

Thank You....Alhamdulillah..murah rezeki pula tahun ini :)...as a result...I didnt spend on cookies at all...

Historical Sport Day

KejohananOlahraga Tahunan Ke-8./ 2011

Left home as early as 6.30 am..Reaching stadium to find most of the girls were already there.

Suasana sukan mula terasa...

And it started beautifully with series of event.

And I was not involved in any of the common committee because I am the ' Guru Ketua Rumah' (GKR) for Epidendrium- The orange house

2004 was our first sport day..and ever since that year, I was never been appointed as Ketua Rumah...and finally when everybody /every teacher of Epi has became GKR, I was the only one left...SO, that's how I became GKR.

And...it's worth taking the responsibility, when it turned out to be the historic achievement for Epidendrium...Alhamdulillah..

The house captain Syarifah Alya and all the committee members worked very hard..and with their tireless effort in bringing back the 'title' for Epi...CONGRATULATION GIRLS.>>
The team work was superb ! All the running events were controlled by them..They were great!

Strong determination, united, and knew what they want to achieve !

Its all for EPI....EPI...EPI...
and the medals for this year..
Sweet Pavi...she contributes to EPI's success !!
The cheering group...fascinating and beautifully presented..Won the second place but for me , they are the winner !!
Who knows, these girls are all so so...holistic !
Dendro emerged as the winner..Good performance too...
For the 'perbarisan'...EPI won the FIRST place !!
And sweet QISTINA....olahragawati of the year...winning 5 gold medals...who else can beat her?

Congratulation girl !! You helped EPI to win!

Yeaaayyy...tanpa penglibatan semua tidak mudah untuk menjadi johan.....

Based from my observation: their team work are great ! They love and care for each other, they are committed and determine to win...They sacrificed their time for this success...
...and it is worth !
Congratulation again girls...I'm sure this sport day will become the best memory in your 2 years spent at SESERI..
Thank you girls, for making my year as GKR , a year to remember..I am very happy !

The sweetest Teachers Day

Sudah tahu sebulan lepas...dapat Anugerah Guru Inovatif WP tahun 2011..Tidak menjadi rahsia lagi ...kerana 'blog' itu juga dicalonkan mewakili WP ke pertandingan Guru Inovatif Peringkat kebangsaan sempena Hari Guru 2011..Selepas diberitahu oleh Pn Zainun JNJK JPNWPKL untuk bersedia bagi penilaian oleh sekumpulan pegawai dari Bahagian Perkembangan Kurikulum (BPK) Putrajaya, I know I have to get ready...

..True enough, soon after that, 3 of them came and spent hours to observe how the 'blog' assist me in Teaching and learning Bio !...I did not put much hope for that because I never thought of submitting this so called 'inovation' in the first place....

And when the day comes, as early as 7 in the morning, five of us went to SJKC Tsun Jin for the event.

I won for an individual category while Add math group won for a group category..Seen are : Ding, Emi,Wong and Atikah..

We sat in the front row....penerima anugerah..

plus certificate and RM200.00 cheque

Unable to describe my feelings...memang sangat gembira..

Kedua-dua anugerah dibolot oleh seseri....make our school proud !

...And of course...jumpa semula dengan Azahari..NowSeeHeart Nasyid group...
We (Azahari and I ) have been working together as a team for SPM invigilation in 2009..and meet again there..

and so happy to be able to record moment together..like sister and brother.

~ A soft spoken, a fine gentleman ~ That's the few words to describe him.
Wish him a continuous success in his 'teaching' career and of course his 'singing' biz :)
