In Service Training @Grand Continental KL

..The title was 'Perancangan Strategik-Cabaran Ke arah kecemerlangan Organisasi' presented by an officer En E from IAB..
It was very informative and in two hours hat trick Talk, I found myself deeply focused in the latest of National Education Issue..

..He talked about NKRA...
• Pada Isnin (27 Julai 2009), Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak telah mengumumkan Indeks Prestasi Utama (KPI) enam teras Bidang Keberhasilan Utama Negara (NKRA),
- Bagi NKRA untuk meluaskan akses pendidikan berkualiti dan berkemampuan, menterinya ialah Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Menteri Pelajaran)

• Tujuan PM memperkenalkan NKRA dan KPI adalah bagi memastikan elemen kebertanggungjawaban yang serius, wujud di kalangan anggota pentadbiran dan juga penjawat awam.
-KPM mempunyai 6 NKRA but what we are concerned most is this one:

• sebagai projek perintis, sebanyak 100 buah sekolah, terdiri daripada jenis harian biasa, sekolah bestari, kluster, trust school atau sekolah berpiagam dan sekolah berasrama penuh, akan dikenal pasti untuk diangkat menjadi Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi. Semua rencana ini akan dilaksanakan dalam tempoh 3 tahun sebelum penamat 2012

...and the whole of next week, a group of 'jemaah nazir' will come and do inspection and evaluation...and the whole of next week, a group of 'jemaah nazir' will come to SESERI and do inspection and evaluation according to the criteria of SBT..All of us teachers want our school to be shortlisted among other 19 schools in Malaysia..

...Apart from that, the Talk was mainly discussing about 'Strategic Planning'..
After 11.00 am, we havea brainstorming session (I was in charge of Strategic Planning for Curriculum )...then we went for lunch at 1.30pm...back again to continue the workshop at 2.30pm...until 4.30 pm..







I would consider the one-day training fruitful...and having such a training once a while , away from the school atmosphere.. was indeed wonderful!!!
...and the final tips by the speaker as how to be a good teacher:
1. Love ur students
2. Love ur teaching
3. Love the knowledge
...Thats for everybody to think....
