..5 Adioda and 5 Gastisia got my messages..

After one week holiday, they come back fresh. First thing in the morning i entered 5 Adioda..After greeting, salam and doa (that's the routine) all of them were looking at me (30 of them)..I guess they're looking at my new kurung today with all the labuci...(girls always notice what teachers wear and i'm aware of that)..Silence for a while..they were waiting for what i was abt to say or what wld be the 'mukadimmah' before the real lesson started..
In T&L, teachers r encouraged to start lesson with induction set..The set must be perhaps something eye catching, suprises, sound effect or somthing related to daily life..But Today i cant wait anymore..my induction set is :
" Everybody knows that we've just got or SPM result..our school ranked 10th out of 54 SBP. Previously we r at the 3rd place?..so wondering why ?....bla...bla...If not bcoz a drop in Bio, Phy, Add math...the position wld be far better..Bio result dissapoint me..why do u think the result was such?..bla...bla...bla....bla..." All gave full attention...

"So..u guess what is my plan now?..I'm going to group all of u into a few groups according to ur past marks of the Reflection tests (This form 5 girls have answered Reflection tests topically since early of the year and i ve the marks recorded to observe their progress subtopically)..For those who have good score for the 3 tests will be group as "The Safe Group", meaning : girls in the group have 80% chance to score A1 Bio..(Provided they study consistently Bio from now till SPM)".."Next, for those who scored less in any one/two tests will be grouped as "The NTI (Need-To-Improve) Group",meaning: If they r not doing something abt bio, they wont be able to score A1...sort of WARNING...

"Starting next week, the NTI group will be seated at the front table in the Lab..".."Everybody must give full attention while i'm delivering bio contents..then there will be small group discussion among u..then u ask me if u dont understand.." ..'Back to class, dont wait..start memorising..."..Pesanan after pesanan after pesanan..

All of them seemed excited abt wanting to score A Bio..But the constraints are of course as expected: difficult to memorise, too many facts to memorise, cannot remember well.......

It looks like i ve to give them more exercises as how to answer in meaningful sentences.. I'm finding ways.....to help them to memorise easier.

After half an hour break, i entered another class 5 Gastisia (25 of them)..same thing..repeated..But their group is "The NTI group" and the "The Strugglers Group"..

There'll be another 2 classes..5 Bakerara and 5 Helpilia..to be grouped just like them......Thats to be done this week too..

Then, lesson continue with the types of vertebrae: cervical, thoracic, lumbar with the prominent characteristics be reminded: the persence of vertebrarterial canal in cervical vert, the long spinous process in thoracic vert, the large centrum in lumbar..Well, they seemed to understand it especially when they cld refer straight to the skeleton model in the lab..

Then goes the fore limb and hind limb..The position of ulna and radius confused them..Ulna articulate with humerus and larger than radius in size..They asked me abt cartilage ring..the function? What's the different between joint? facet?..They asked me abt patela, pectoral girdle, pelvic girdle..They asked me abt coccyx..in monkeys??......And they moved abt in the Lab playing with skeletons..identifying types of vertebrae..i let them...until time's up...
